How to get to us ? Take a look here...


Our house is located right in the center of the historical old-town of Heidelberg, next to the Königsstuhl. When arriving by car, please see the following directions (see also the Google maps plan down below with our location):

  • coming from direction Mannheim (A656) or Frankfurt (A5), take the exit "Heidelberg"
  • coming from direction Karlsruhe / Stuttgart (A5, take the exit "Heidelberg/Schwetzingen"
  • follow the green route B of the Hotelleitsystem (hotel guidance system)
  • direction Altstadt / Schloss (Old-town / castle)
  • leave the tunnel (Gaisbergtunnel) behind and turn left after 150 meters (first possibility)
  • You`re now already on Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage. The hotel appears after 200 meters on the left, street number 32.

With local public transport you can reach us from the central railway station with all lines eastbound to the inner city/old-town (trams 21/22/OEG5, exit station Bismarckplatz, then 5 min by foot; buses 31/32/33/34 exit Bismarckplatz or directly Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage).

The bus stop for the important city lines 31, 32 and 33 is right next to the hotel. Thus all your destinations like e. g. the Congress hall, the University institutes or clinics, the DKFZ, the Max-Planck-Institutes or Heidelberger Druckmaschinen are within reach. A good starting point for short trips to the surroundings is the nearby Bismarckplace, where you will get access to most public transports.

If you have just landed at the International Airport Frankfurt am Main, the easyiest way to arrive at our hotel is via shuttle-bus: TLS buses (Tel. + 49 (0)6221 770077) will bring you directly to the hotel - alternatively the shuttle buses from Lufthansa (Tel. + 49 (0)621 651620) will drive you till Hotel Crowne Plaza (near Adenauerplatz), only a short walk (few hundred meters) away from us.
